Electric brakes on both axles are standard on tandem trailers above 750 kg GTM. Check that the brake controller in your tow vehicle is compatible and correctly adjusted for the tandem configuration. Some tandem trailers have brakes on all four wheels, others only on one axle.
Turning radius is larger on tandem trailers — they track wider through corners and need more space in tight areas. Practice reversing in an empty car park before loading up for the first time.
